Ask your colleagues to share their recent wins and create a āsuccess wallā to post them on. These successes can be big or small, but encourage them to keep it simple. This is a great way of getting your team to realize how many amazing things youāve actually achieved, even if you havenāt really thought about it lately. #team

Why is it important for a team to celebrate your wins? When your team celebrates your achievements, it's like adding fuel to your motivation. This recognition makes you feel appreciated and valued, boosting your confidence and inspiring you to aim even higher. It's a sign of a healthy team culture where each member's success is seen as a victory for the whole team, creating a positive atmosphere that encourages everyone to give their best.

If you push these big, unrealistic goals on your team, it demoralizes them. It hurts your team. Your team learns to lose. They learn losing is okay. It teaches them that goals do not matter to you. You want your team not to be winning, and your team should also want to be winning. You don't want them to have pain in association with these goals. What do I recommend?Set goals you know you and your team can hit and keep your big, aspirational goals mostly to yourself.Teach your team to win every month. Celebrate with your team and move the needle over time. This is how you keep a team motivated, involved, and winning month after month.

Saracens RUFC former player, Jackson Wray, is now Head of Business Development at 100 & First, where they focus on using real-life inspiring stories to drive change. And Iād say thereās arguably nothing more inspiring than the teamās own change. Rewind to 2005. Saracens are spending a lot on players, but their staff turnover is high and theyāre underperforming š Fast-forward to 2011, and they win their first-ever Premiership title. What changed? Their direction did. They shifted to emphasizing peopleāwhich led to consistency, retention, and ultimately league wins š This culture of strong connection with people meant that when they were relegated in 2019, they didnāt fade from existence. Retaining most of their team, they climbed back to the Premiership, and won it again in 2023. Itās about knowing whatās needed to bring the team together to overcome challenges šŖ Dive into the full story in the newest Talking Transformation Series video:
