Talking all about Spring Home Decor Trends and what I’m buying for my home. Come get inspired!
March was such a busy month over here. I have been planning and prepping for the launch of my new shop.
I have owned a women’s clothing store for 19 years and over the years, the store has evolved along with my personal hobbies and what inspires me. After launching my blog 6 years ago, I have really delved deeper into all things home. So, it seemed natural that my store would reflect that as well.
I have brought in a little bit of home accessories and entertaining essentials over time, but I haven’t had the space to make my full vision come to life. This January the opportunity presented itself to expand my shop and take over the space next door.
My new store is filled with all of my favorite things. Plants, curated gifts, home accessories and entertaining essentials! You can see a sampling of the items on my website, www.shopflaunt.com. And while I was buying for the new store, I saw all the spring home decor trends for this year. Plants, greenery, natural elements and textures and botanical prints are big for spring 2022!
Read on for more and to see how I styled some of my favorite pieces from my new shop!
Spring Home Decor Trends for 2022 You Will Love
Spring is filled with renewed energy, hope and lots of possibilities. This spring’s home decor trends feature lots of natural elements and easy-to-incorporate updates to your living spaces.
Trend #1: Greenery
No surprise here, but greenery – real and faux is huge for spring. Adding plants to your living space can really bring a lot of life and color to your home without spending a lot of time or money. I love incorporating easy-to-care-for plants and succulents into my kitchen and living room.
And pots are a great way to add color and interest to your room. Pick a pretty pot and fill it with an indoor plant and you instantly elevate your space.

Trend #2: Colors and Textures
Neutral, white spaces are on their way out and with that comes lots of color and texture for spring. And incorporating color for spring doesn’t have to feel like an Easter egg or rainbow exploded in your home. Spring colors this year are muted and natural looking. Think blush pinks, hazy lavenders and dusty blues.
You can add color to your space with accessories, books, pillows and maybe a fresh coat of paint on the walls.
Spring Home Decor Trend #3: Warm Neutrals
The color shift from grays and cooler tones to warm and soft neutrals has been happening both in fashion and home decor. Grays and blacks are being replaced by off-whites, taupes and rich browns. I love the cozier feel these warm colors are adding to my home.

Spring Home Decor Trend #4: Natural Accents
Plants, warm neutrals and natural accents are so on trend for spring home decor. And adding in these natural accents is so easy. Rattan, seagrass and woven textures are an inexpensive and simple way to add a bit of a spring vibe to your space and make it feel updated as well.
Natural wood tones are back in style too. So, if you have a piece of furniture that you were thinking of painted, maybe consider stripping it and exposes it’s natural color!
