BARTLEY, ROBERT A. Age 28, was born on May 16, 1986 and passed away on February 26, 2015. Robert was loved by many. He is survived by wife, Sandra Saenz; two children, Valerie and Dominik Bartley; mother, Wendy McCarthy; father, Gary Thomas (Carlsbad); sister, Patricia Bartley; brother, Thomas Bartley; great-grandfather Robert E. Albuquerque Journal Obituaries (4) TRAMBLEY, FRANK C. Frank C. Trambley (Decky) was born on January 24, 1928, and returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 2, 2015. Decky was born to Frank Leon Trambley and Josephine Strong Trambley and had two sisters, twin Margaret (Gayle) and Jeannine. On November 9, 1953, he married the love of his life, Delicia Tafoya, married for 61 years and had six children. Decky was a very prominent businessman who bought his first property at the age of 12. He ranched, farmed and opened up his own business Decky's Meats in 1966. He loved spending time on the ranch, irrigating, baling hay, and spending time with his cattle. He was a Mora County Commissioner in the 1960's, a member of the Mora San Miguel Electric Co-op for 18 years, mayordomo of two acequias since the age of 18, a life-long Republican and Chairman of the County Republican Party in the 1950's and subsequently in the late 1960's. Decky was a life-long member of St. Gertrude's Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph; father, Frank Leon Trambley; his mother, Josephine Strong Trambley; grandson Michael Edward Meadows; father-in-law, Praxedes Tafoya; mother-in-law, Estefanita Tafoya; sister, Jeannine Martinez, brother-in-law, Ernest Martinez; twin sister, Margaret (Gayle) Lester, brother-in-law Chuck Lester; daughter-in-law, Diane (Rachel) Trambley; and his best friend Carlos Lovato, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Delicia Trambley; children: Rose Trambley; Praxedes L. Trambley, wife, Minerva; Frank Leon Trambley; Josephine Meadows, husband, Michael Meadows; Stephanie Trambley, husband, Dennis Trujillo; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Katie Martinez, husband Alfonso Martinez; little sister Josephine Vigil, husband, Benjamin Vigil; his brothers-in-law, Ernest Tafoya, Seferino Crollett, and Bonifacio Vigil; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. The Trambley family would like to thank the following caregivers that assisted: Florence Trujillo, Alice Vasquez, Virginia Trujillo, Fabby Vigil, and Shannon Maes; Esperanza, Joseph Abeyta, Antoinette Romo, and special friends, Dennis Romero, Gloria, Tom, Tom, Jr., and Daniel Gallegos. Funeral services for Mr. Trambley will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM as follows: Family viewing will begin at 5:00pm on Friday, March 6 followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. Celebration of the funeral Mass by Father Paul Grala, SOLT is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday March 7th. Interment will follow the Mass at the Trambley Family Cemetery in Mora, NM. Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Fred Trambley, Praxedes Trambley, II, Michael Meadows, Dennis Trujillo, Ruben Trujillo, Matthew Trambley, Tom Gallegos, and Dennis Romero. PADILLA, JOYCE ANN Joyce Ann Padilla passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Chris; parents: Aldolfo and Ernestina Martinez; daughter, Renee Padilla; son, Eddie Padilla; and grandson, Joseph Mora. Joyce is survived by her sons: Anthony (Tina) Vallejos, Eric, Chris Jr. (Trish), Steve (Kris), and Dennis Padilla; daughter, Anna (Edward) Candelaria; brother, Ernie Martinez; sisters: Nancy Castro and Kathy Del Rio; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Albuquerque Journal Obituaries (15) THOMPSON, JANE CELESTE WEILLER GINS (1927-2015) Following a long & active life, Jane passed from this world on March 1, 2015, at the young age of 88. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Jane is one of few people who have lived their entire lives within a mile of where they were born. A 1945, graduate of Albuquerque High School, she was acquainted with most of the residents of our beautiful city. Her geographical radius may have been small in scope, but her interests were not as limited. Jane was a faithful daughter, dedicated mother and grandmother, respected civic leader and friend to many. Her children and extended family already miss her love, support, acceptance, and encouragement. She was truly an elegant lady who attracted attention with her passion for people and life. As she strove for excellence in all that she attempted, she expected the same from those around her. This led to her becoming president of virtually every organization she joined including Hadassah, the Temple Albert Sisterhood, and the WGA at her beloved Albuquerque Country Club among others. Jane loved golf, bridge, mahjongg, building and maintaining lifelong friendships and family relationships. She had a heart big enough to draw newcomers into established relationships and community. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Myron (Buddy) Gins, infant granddaughter, Jacqueline Gins, and her dear friend/partner in crime, Lore White. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert Thompson; sons Joshua Gins and wife, Maggie; Richard Gins; Rand Gins and wife, Ginny; daughter, Nancy Bain and husband, Jon; and daughter-in-law, Valerie Berg; stepsons Michael Thompson and wife, Kaye; Fred Thompson and wife, Karen; and stepdaughter Judy (Grinny) Walton and husband, David; her incredible grandchildren who were featured as she drove around town proudly sporting the "NANA12" license plate; three great-grandchildren; special cousin/sister, Celeste Mandel; and numerous dear friends and extended family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 8, 1942, to Sidney B. and Gertrude (Lieberman) Roth. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his son, Eric Roth of Florida; sister, Mikki Roth-Loomis and husband Spud of Rio Rancho, NM. Larry rode many bicycle benefits for M.S. Society. He liked joking and kidding around with friends and caregivers, and enjoyed baseball, especially the NY Mets. Larry was a huge fan of all sports including the Lobos Men's Basketball Team. CROMPTON, CORA LORRAINE HANSON Cora H Crompton was born on January 11, 1923, and returned home to Heavenly Father on February 27, 2015. Cora was 92 years old. Cora was born in Leamington, Utah, to Loreta Dutson and Lowell Allison Hanson. She was the fourth of six siblings and had many great memories of life in a small farming community. After graduation from Delta High School she attended Brigham Young University. While working in Salt Lake City she met her husband, Joseph Crompton. After a two year courtship they married in 1944 and began a life of great adventure. They moved to Albuquerque in 1953 when Joseph started working at Sandia National Laboratory and Cora became a homemaker. They were married 56 years when Joseph preceded her in death in 2000. Cora and Joseph are the parents of 3 children. Lorelei Romney (Bryan); Alison Jones (Allen); and Joseph Crompton IV (Rose). Cora also had 8 grandchildren and was blessed with 6 great-grandchildren. Cora taught her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the value of service, love for others, and the benefits of education and hard work. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Haines Ward) where she made many eternal friends. She served in various callings in the Church and truly believed that you serve the Savior by serving others. Cora lived in her home for 61 years and was blessed to have caring and loving neighbors who watched out for her and made it possible to live in her home for so long. Her family thanks you. Cora left behind the greatest legacy of all - family and friends who loved her. Services for Cora will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Albuquerque Journal Obituaries (34) SOROS, LINDA Linda Soros passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on August 20, 1946 to Ralph D. and Ethel Mae Libby. Linda was instrumental in starting the genealogical society in Albuquerque and loved working on difficult jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She was a wonderful gardener and well known for her amazing flowers in the backyard. She was beautiful inside and out and adored her family and husband dearly. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She cherished the pictures of her loved ones which she hung in her bedroom and on the refrigerator. Before she died she said, "I hope I will be surrounded by puppies when I go to heaven." She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Spiro Soros; brother-in-law, David Soros. She is survived by the loves of her life, her husband, Sam L. Soros; sons, Scott (Heidi) Mitchell and Ken (Nanette) Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Gina (Neal) Dierkes; grandchildren: Britton (Marquis) Bell; Joel (Melissa) Dierkes; Samantha, Shane, and Liam Mitchell; Miles and Mason Anderson; Blaine and Nyla Mitchell; nine great grandchildren; sisters: Peggy (Fred) Case, Becky Horton, Jo Ellen (Damon) Brown; mother-in-law, Evelyn Soros; brothers-in-law: Charles (Robin) Soros, Louis Soros, Rusty (Susan) Soros, Paul Soros; sisters-in-law, Sue (Mac) Mahachik and Regina Ann Brocato.
